Advertorial Guidelines

Principle:

  • Advertorials have to be labeled with „Anzeige“.
  • They can look similar to an editorial page but they may not be identical.
  • Advertorials require final approval from the publisher.

Labeling advertising:

The word „Anzeige“ is required on the top of the page (outer top right if RHP, outer top left if LHP, outer top right or left for a double page) using a minimum font size of 10 points and a dark font colour on bright background (or bright font colour on dark background).

Typeface & layout:

Type faces and layout should bear no resemblance to standard editorial templates. This includes fonts, heading markers, illustration style and coloured fond/background (white is excluded).

Approval:

Advertorials require final approval from the publisher.
